Burnt Special 102

The Burnt Special is a true all mountain ski that is as much fun on groomers as it is off piste. It is our go-to East Coast touring ski, and it's durable construction makes it reliable and resilient for adventures worldwide. The rockered tip has a softer flex to help with turn entry as well as adding float on those super soft days. Stiff and cambered underfoot, the Burnt Special will have no problem holding an edge.

All of our skis draw their performance from our “Mainer Wood Core”. Using Maple and Yellow Poplar that is hand selected for its full grain and high quality. Each ski core is made right here at our factory at Sugarloaf to ensure your ski begins its journey with the best possible foundation.

We choose to use Maple for our sidewalls to get better response and damping performance characteristics, while reducing the amount of plastic waste that we have in our manufacturing process. 

Our wood veneer top sheets are completely unique. Choose from Curly Maple, Domestic Gum, Elm, Walnut, Cherry, or Turkey Feather Ash. Or, you can choose your own plastic graphic top sheet.
